Minecraft Bedrock (Windows Edition) Connection Issues, for Hosting and even joining

Hi I play Minecraft with my GF, we’re both on Bedrock (Windows Edition) she’s playing from her iPad and I’m on my PC. I’ve always had problems with her and others being able to join and I’ve had to turn off my firewall entirely to even let them join. Now this isn’t even working and I don’t know what to do

Sorry to hear about that, however, usually it may depend on your internet connection already. Try to install the Xbox console companion app by going here: https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/xbox-co... > Sign in > Go to Settings (cogwheel icon) > Network > Check your NAT.

If it's on Strict, try to restart your modem or router, and if it won't work, try to perform open ports by following the steps here: https://support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/...

No, you just sent me link to download Minecraft: Java Edition, but i have issue with Minecraft: Bedrock Edition (Windows 10 Edition) from Microsoft Store.

Ok, but is the Windows version of Minecraft, Minecraft Bedrock Edition (Cross-Plataform) or Minecraft Java Edition (Only Pc)?

Hi, the Bedrock edition is the same as the Windows edition. Bedrock on Windows is called in that way "Minecraft Windows Edition"

I see that you have the "Play" button enabled on both versions

So, you're good to go
