    Hey everyone, I have been experiencing an issue on Minecraft Bedrock. I was able to join my other mate who has Minecraft PE. But my mate with the same Minecraft Bedrock does not allow us to join. When I join him,
    it says for him I joined but I am stuck on "locating server". When he tries to join, his stuck on the screen "connecting to multiplayer". Please help me as this has been going on for a month or 2 now.

    I have tried the following steps,

    1) Uninstalling the game and installing it again.

    2) Turning off Firewall to test if that is the issue.

    3) Checking that both of our Minecraft Windows 10 Edition are on the same version, which they are.

    Please help me as soon as possible.

    Thank you for taking the time to reply to this thread.

    Bedrock is the version that is on consoles and mobile devices. So, yes, if you updated your console version you have the Bedrock version that is simple titled "Minecraft". Minecraft Windows 10 Edition is the only exception to this. Minecraft Windows
    10 Edition also uses the Bedrock engine. If you have something such as "Minecraft Xbox One Edition", this is not the up-to-date version.

    On PC [Bedrock and Java] you do not need to have a Xbox Live Gold subscription to play online.

    I hope this was able to clear up any confusion or turmoil this might have caused.

    If you have Minecraft Bedrock Edition for Xbox One, then you would be able to use that to install Minecraft from the Windows 10 store and play yes. Is that what you're asking for? Should be able to get it from the Windows 10 store and searching for Minecraft.
