    Can i still get the free upgrade to bedrock edition i lost minecraft for a while and recently found it and i dont want to pay again because i have the disc version.

    I deleted an old game but it won’t show up in “All owned games” now I can’t download it.

    Oh, just a friendly reminder though that Minecraft Xbox One Edition is no longer available it was upgraded to Minecraft bedrock edition. Were you able to upgrade before when it was given for free?

    i ran into the same problem tonight. i purchased the Minecraft Xbox One S bundle originally and was given the free "upgrade" to the Bedrock version as well. i literally played it this afternoon, BEFORE the Xbox dashboard upgrade... after restarting the Xbox
    this evening, the new Xbox dashboard was applied and launching the Bedrock Minecraft game gives an error implying that I don't own the game.

    There was a promo Mojang had ran when the Bedrock/W10 version of Minecraft had first came out that offered an upgrade from the "Xbox One Edition" of the game to Bedrock for free. I don't believe they offered that upgrade from the "Xbox 360 Edition" to the
    Bedrock version however. They may still offer is in certain circumstances if you reach out to them.

    Sadly you cannot. If you own the version Minecraft called Minecraft: Xbox One Edition and you have not upgraded to thw Bedrock/Windows 10 version yet you will have to pay for the new version.

    They stopped the promotion for the free upgrade awhile ago I think its been about a year or so... I'm sorry about it. I had to just buy it again as well.

    You could try and haggle with Mojang if you send them an email but the only likely solution is purchasing it as the promotion is no longer active. :(
