Minecraft Bedrock sever LAN issue

I recently bought a physical server to run some Minecraft servers on. I recently set up a Bedrock server, and everything worked out fine. However, when I try to join it from my phone or my personal computer (separate from the server), it wont let me connect, or even see ping or player count. My brother, who is also on the same network, can play on his computer fine. So I'm thinking maybe some sort of account issue? I would really like to solve this problem.

Question: on your phone, is the app permitted to access your local network?

Check your mobile device settings outside the Minecraft app, and make sure that the app's permissions include "Access to Local Network". That should hopefully fix the problem.

Let me know if that doesn't work. I'd also appreciate whether the phone is either iOS or Android to see if I can find more specific guidance for you.

Yes, the Minecraft app can use LAN, and i even tried to access another account via LAN, and it doesn't work. However, ive worked out a solution using the custom port forwarded IP of my router i used for my Java server, and for some reason it worked. Its still a minor inconvenience, however i just think it has something to do with the router settings or the servers settings.

is minecraft java or bedrock?, if it is bedrock , you need to get into your xbox lve account and change the permissions, if you have pirated, download an apk with xbox live an finish!,if you purchased it, sing in, if you already made it, i dont know how help you, if it is minecraft java, open in lan for friends, or play with servers (look the correct version and the ip and if it is premium or no premium

There are several different versions of minecraft. Minecraft: Java edition is PC only and can only crossplay with Java players (mac, Lenox, PC) The minecraft that doesnt have a version next to it is the play together version or more commonly called bedrock.
Bedrock is the version that can be played across mobile, console, and PC. There are also editions that are made specifically for most consoles and even a stand alone mobile version. Examples would be Minecraft: Xbox One Edition, Minecraft: Pocket Edition.
These do not work with Bedrock which is just called Minecraft. Java is the most updated version of minecraft while bedrock would be right behind that one. The others I'm really not sure how often they update them if at all. Each edition of Minecraft has to
be purchased separately. I happen to own both Minecraft: Xbox one edition and Minecraft since they released at separate times. I also have Java on my PC. As for your issue they do not have a Bedrock version on the 360.
