    A friend of mine created a realm out of a world he had on his Xbox, he used the 30 day free trial. We want to transfer ownership of the realm to me so I can pay the monthly subscription but it doesn't give us the option anywhere. I don't know if it's not
    letting us because it's on the free trial of what but we want to transfer it soon cause we don't want to pay for 2 realms. I also activated my free trial in the hopes it would let me transfer but can't figure out how.

    Please could someone assist, we want to keep using the same world.

    I don't think you can transfer WORLD ownership between profiles. However, if you upload the world in question to a realm, you CAN transfer the realm ownership between profiles.

    If you wish to take this route follow these steps:

    Activate the free 30 day trial of realms on Xbox. 2. Upload the world in question to the realm by tapping A on the pencil next to the realm and selecting UPLOAD WORLD.

    Any realm you are a part of will show up in your Xbox clubs in the Friends tab. Go there find the realm club and go to the MANAGE TAB. (It's the last tab all the way on the right.)

    Scroll all the way down and use the TRANSFER REALM OWNERSHIP option. Enter the new accounts email.

    On the 2nd account launch Minecraft Bedrock and again tap A on the pencil. Choose Download Realm. Now the world is saved to the Xbox again and can be played locally or offline.

    And I think this works only on Bedrock.

    I have thought about this but he never owned the Java edition so he doesn't get the windows 10 edition for free like I did. He doesn't want to fork out extra cash for it just to change the ownership, is there no way to do it on Xbox?

    Have your friend get windows 10 edition on his computer. Have hin log on to his account. He should be able to play on the realm on his computer. Next, in the realm settings download the world. Then have him email that world to you. Now get windows ten
    edition yourself. Download the world and open it in windows 10 edition. Upload it to a realm. Now you can play on that world but you will own the realm.

    Ooo I didn't know about the free trial, I'll have to have a chat to him and set it up. This helps a lot, it's a big world, about 160mb but I'll drop it onto my one drive, appreciate the help, hope it works

    No, not really. There is a free trial for windows 10 edition however. Ive tried other ways but this is what I came up with.
