    Minecraft Bedrock. Minecraft Store, skins, servers, and realms are all not loading.


    I'm currently playing on the Xbox One S, now my Minecraft has been "broken" for quite some time now and I really can't get a straight answer to why or how to fix it, and even if I do get an answer, it's always "it's your internet", but trust me, it's not.

    Now The Minecraft Store won't load and always says "we're unable to connect to the marketplace, maybe check your internet connection?", and I've tried going offline and then online but it doesn't fix it, I've even tried to reinstall Minecraft and even restart my console, but still doesn't fix it, so I can't get access to any of the new stuff. My skins are also broken, I can't get access to my skins because they are just stuck in a loading animation, plus I can't even customize my skins, I can't even access my purchases from the Minecraft Store, Realms don't show up and Servers don't show up. This is a different case when I'm on my other accounts. Works perfectly fine, Minecraft store works, skins load, everything works, but not for my Main account. If someone could give me a straight answer on why this is happening and how I can fix it, please let me know. And no, it's not in beta if you were wondering.

    It seems to me that possibly the problem is more focused on the compatibility of the server with the edition of Minecraft you use. Minecraft Java Edition servers do not accept Minecraft Bedrock players, or vice versa. It is the same thing that happens with Minecraft Realms, for example. There are separate Realms for each edition of the game for the simple fact that both editions are different and not compatible with each other.

    Minecraft for Windows, as it is, cannot be used on Xbox consoles. However, Minecraft for Windows is essentially Minecraft Bedrock Edition, which is the same edition used on Xbox consoles. That's why, for example, the Realms in Minecraft for Windows are the same as Minecraft Bedrock for Xbox consoles. In contrast, Minecraft Java Edition Realms are exclusive to PC and only accept Java Edition players.

    This is why most servers, even if they are third-party, have the same player compatibility system. It's highly likely that the server you're trying to access is intended for the Java version of Minecraft. That's why it doesn't allow you to log in from the Minecraft for Windows (Bedrock) edition, while it does allow access from the Java edition of the game.

    It's essential to clarify that "Minecraft for Windows" refers to Minecraft Bedrock, but that's how Mojang decided to name it on the PC platform, which can lead to confusion.
