Minecraft Bedrock for the playstation doesn't let me log on with a Microsoft account

I don't have an Xbox. I specifically said I have a playstation, I am not quite sure how they can help. Everywhere on the page it says that I need to check my Xbox console and I do not have one..

Given that you need to have your account recovered, there is nothing that the Microsoft Community can do to help. You can try to contact the Xbox Support, to check if they can recover the access to your account: http://support.xbox.com/

I play Minecraft on my PlayStation 4 so that's the console I'm having issues on. I'm not really sure what you mean by third party account as Microsoft only lets you link things to Microsoft approved/partnered things, but it was my Xbox/Microsoft account, I changed the Xbox account's randomly generated username to a new one and that's when I first started getting problems logging into my Microsoft account on the PlayStation but it still let me log back in eventually, then I changed my Xbox username to match my PSN username and now it doesn't let me log in at all.

I had to go onto my Microsoft account, link it to an Xbox account and create a Xbox gamertag. Then I restarted Minecraft on my Playstation and it let me log in!
