Minecraft Bedrock Edition on PC settings

I've been playing Minecraft Bedrock edition on PC for a little while now, and up until today I haven't had any problems. However, when I went to play today, I got a strange issue. The game loads, but on the main menu screen, the skin I had equipped didn't
show up, and was replaced by one of the default skins. Also, the animation over the marketplace button was missing. Thinking it might just be an isolated issue, I re-equipped my skin, which was downloaded onto my computer. But when I then clicked Play, I was
greeted with a message that "You cannot play on Realms because of how your Microsoft Account is set up. This can be changed in your privacy & online safety settings on aka.ms/accountsettings." This message was repeated on the Servers tab twice, and all the
Friends tab showed was that my friends were supposedly not playing Minecraft right now, as opposed to the realm that I had been playing on the past couple weeks.

I tried the microsoft settings online and in my computer settings, and I couldn't find anything that looked even close to being the right settings to change. Also, this changed overnight out of nowhere; I didn't do anything to my Microsoft or PC settings
last night at all, so I don't understand how the settings could have changed by themselves. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
