    Minecraft Bedrock Edition on PC Connection Timeout, Unable to connect to world


    My daughters and I have been playing Minecraft for some time, with me on my PC and her on a switch. We have had intermittent issue before but i was able to figure them out and get it working again. This time I am kinda lost. I can join her worlds but she cannot join mine, which normally wouldn't be an issue other than for the fact that I play when she is asleep so that I can get things ready for the next adventure.

    So far I have

    Check the game versions and we are both running the same one

    Checked the safety and privacy settings for Xbox and everything is allowed

    Unfriended and friended several different times

    Logged both accounts out several times

    I uninstalled and reinstall the game on both the PC and Switch

    I have made rules to allow Minecraft through the firewall

    I have made exceptions for Minecraft on my antivirus

    I have port forwarded on my router

    I have even gone back and tried with the firewall and anitvirus both off

    Throughout this process I have regularly restarted both the switch and PC

    I even setup a hotspot network off my PC and connected the switch to it see if that might make a difference.

    I don't think internet bandwidth is issue as on my PC speed test says we are getting about 300mb DL and about 9Mb UL, on the switch she gets 30MB DL and 9 UL.

    To sync a Minecraft Bedrock Edition world from a PC to an Android phone, you can follow these steps:

    On your PC, go to the "Saved Worlds" folder for Minecraft Bedrock Edition. This folder is usually located at "C:\Users[Yourusername]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\games\com.mojang\minecraftWorlds".

    Find the world you want to sync in the "Saved Worlds" folder and copy it to a location on your PC that is easy to access, such as the desktop.

    Connect your Android phone to your PC using a USB cable.

    On your Android phone, open the "Files" app.

    In the "Files" app, navigate to the folder where you want to save the world on your Android phone.

    On your PC, drag the world folder from its current location and drop it into the folder on your Android phone.

    Once the transfer is complete, disconnect your Android phone from your PC.

    On your Android phone, open Minecraft Bedrock Edition and select the world you just transferred from the "Saved Worlds" menu.

    Thank you for posting on the forums, I'd be happy to help.

    The most common reason for this issue is that either one of you is on a different version. What version are you on and your friend?

    It's always good to start with the basics, like rebooting your PC. Open your Windows settings and go to Gaming and then on the left go to Xbox Live and it will start scanning. What is your NAT type and are you connected to the Xbox Live server?

    Check if you are using the same game version upgrade after that we suggest clearing out the console's cache since when it's get full might cause this type of errors.

    How to clear Game Cache on the Xbox One:

    Clear Local Saved Games

    Yes and Restart



    To clear the Network Card Cache (alternate MAC address)
