    minecraft bedrock edition crashes when i join a realm


    ive had a problem for a while where if i were to try to join a realm either it hard crashes, meaning the game completly closes, or the textures just dont load, meaning the entire gui is missing, and every texture is a single pixel texture, odly enough it works fine if the owner of the realm is on already when i join, making it so i can only play on the realm when the owner is on. i tried to search online for this but i couldnt find any problems similar to it

    What device are you playing Minecraft on? Does this happen with more than one Realm?

    Also, have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far?

    Can someone please answer a Minecraft Realms question?

    To play online, you'll need xbox gold membership. For the Minecraft version i think you'll need the bedrock editon (which is the one for Xbox, windows 10 and Nintendo switch that just have "Minecraft" in the title (it doesn't say bedrock edition)) and
    to join a realm you need to get an invite from the person that has created the realm

    It's important to note that if your friends are playing Minecraft on an Xbox console and on a Nintendo Switch, they are playing Minecraft Bedrock Edition. If you're trying to join their Realm while playing Minecraft Java Edition, you won't be able to do so because they are different versions of the game.

    Are you sure you're attempting to join from Minecraft Bedrock Edition (named Minecraft for Windows in the Minecraft Launcher) and not Minecraft Java Edition?

    Hi,

    This probably is not with you. This is probably with the people trying to join the Realm. Are the others on Xbox? If so, they should be following the steps to enable Cross-Platform gameplay for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.
