    Hi,

    I recently used a Minecraft bedrock code and it was redeemed using my microsoft account.

    After redeeming the code (and the game shows on my microsoft order history), I downloaded the minecraft laucher on Windows 10.

    Once I opened the launcher and logged in using the same account, it prompted me to log in into xbox live, which I also did.

    And now the launcher tells me to buy Minecraft: Java & Bedrock Edition Base Game even though I've already redeemed the code.

    I checked microsoft store and it says the same, that I need to buy Minecraft: Java & Bedrock Edition Base Game, but my order history still says I own Minecraft.

    I checked on the xbox website and it says I own Minecraft also, but I still can't download it on my pc (even if it's bedrock).

    What can I do to install minecraft into my pc?

    Minecraft windows 10 redeem code bug

    Try the following perhaps, as you have discovered you have two Microsoft Accounts.

    Uninstall the Minecraft Windows 10/Bedrock version from your computer.

    Open the WIndows 10 Store app, and click the three dots menu in the upper right corner with your account signed in.

    Go to Library, and check if Minecraft shows up in the list of owned games.

    If not, or if only the trial appears, sign out of your account on the store app, and sign in with your other Microsoft Account.

    Again check the Library of that account, to see if Minecraft shows up there.

    If it still doesn't show up, then I'd assume that you have a third email account that you're not aware of, that you used to redeem the code for Windows 10 Minecraft back then.

    In that case I'd recommend you contact the Minecraft support if they are able to help you find out which account was used to redeem the code.

    Minecraft: java and bedrock edition bundle doesn't let me install bedrock edition.

    So, I have found the reason why I cannot redeem the bundle, and that is because the account I own bedrock on, I initially bought the game through the Google Play Store in 2016, and back then it was Minecraft Pocket Edition, which then converted to a Microsoft Account when Bedrock was released. Because I didn't buy the game through the Microsoft Store on that account, the system doesn't recognise me as purchasing Bedrock Edition on the Microsoft store servers, and I am unable to redeem the promotion.

    I have already made it clear that the system needs to be updated to make bedrock versions bought from different stores consistent.
