Minecraft associated microsoft account hacked

I was playing minecraft java edition earlier today to find that a person I was playing with on the server hacked my microsoft account meaning the account that is associated with that account is no longer accessible by me. Seems like they changed the email address and password associated with my minecraft java edition profile. It's really annoying me because I don't want to lose all the progress I have made in minecraft over the last 6 years. Has anyone got any clue on how I could possibly get back into my minecraft/microsoft account?

I understand that the hacking incident happened pre-migration era however I'm afraid you will need to know the Microsoft account that was hacked and associated with your Minecraft account in order to recover your Minecraft.

Once you know the Microsoft email account, try to contact Microsoft Xbox Support again to request for an escalation to recover your account from the hacker.

Also, the gmail.com originally associated with the account still exists but no longer exists in the Microsoft database or whatever. "We couldn't find an account with that username. Try another, or get a new Microsoft account." The email itself isn't hacked, just my Minecraft Java account.

This is really strange to me, the microsoft account was not hacked, I don't think. I can still access my microsoft account, it is this one currently being used to message. You see I had a gamertag associated with my minecraft account, I went to login one day, and the gamertag had changed and I could not access my account.

Based on your description, you might have been attempting to sign in to a different Microsoft account. You will need to know the exact email address associated with your Microsoft account where you have redeemed your Minecraft Java and bedrock editions.

Try to sign in to your other email addresses on account.microsoft.com > then go to payment and billing > order history > select Nov 3 and check if the redeemed Minecraft codes are showing there in order to find the Microsoft account associated with your Minecraft.

If the code transaction shows up, use the same account to sign in to the Minecraft launcher.

However, if you're able to find the email address but are unable to sign in to the account, it might be possible that your account was hacked.
