Minecraft app only on main family profile - not on my child's profile

First, if not already done so, you will have to sign in with your adult account on
https://account.microsoft.com/family and add your son's Microsoft Account to the family.

If already done, have your son sign in on the laptop. Then you open the Store app.

Click on your son's account in the top right, and then sign him out of the store app.

Sign in with your own account on the store, and then under the library, install the Minecraft game again on your son's account.

The game won't be installed with twice the hard drive space. Only the License is added to the other user on the laptop (i.e. your son).

After you installed Minecraft, sign out of the store again (unless you want your son purchase stuff in your name), and then let your son play Minecraft! Yay!

yep got all of that!

but why do multiple games "share" between them, with no problems!

Red Dead being the problem child, but as its NOT a MICROSOFT server they play on, its Rockstar's - then one console being on a physical disc, and the other on a Digital download is not a problem...

The main problem was that child one, did not realise that they were on Child 2's profile and loaded the code into the wrong profile - which overwrote the "insert disc" function, and means that you cannot transfer to the correct profile or get a refund!!!
to actually put onto the correct profile, only fix is to BUY another Copy onto the profile it was meant to be on.

that's my main gripe with that.

But as to the family sharing the point is that its VAGUE!!!

today I was told that with Family Sharing I could buy 1 Game and Share it to 5 family members!! But this is a contradiction when the MS rules state clearly, it only covers 1 console! 2 console's = 2 copies!

my argument is that 1 physical + 1 digital is 2 copies, and to have both on the 3exact same profile proves a mistake, and also proves in Family as per there own statements means 2 consoles in the family have got the 2 copies required!

Also, she's a child profile under my family's Gold plan, not a completely separate profile
