    MINECRAFT - Android - How do I access an older/another gamertag showing on my account?


    Hey guys, bear with me please. Trying to figure out what has happened.

    My son has been playing minecraft on android. I have bought a few 'worlds' for him, and purchase receipt has been sent to my email from the googleplay store.

    After a computer reset on my end, I must have changed an email or permissions etc, which with the email account that was being used for minecraft.

    His username has changed - not buy us, but most likely from changes as just mentioned and therefore creating a 'new' account? , and we've gone through all the damn emails we can think of to login, but it all takes us back to our one family microsoft account, which logs him in using his new username. This may be where I've f*cked up?

    Anyway, he can see the worlds on the device, but the ones we have bought/paid for are now locked and it's asking me to pay for the template again to use. Googleplay store account is the same as what we're logging in with.

    Help please and thank you!

    EDIT - I have logged into xbox.com and under privacy and online safety is the gamertag that I want back! Along with the new one that was created also. HOW do I get to use the other gamertag? I'm using the same account it should be associated with but its still showing me as the newer gamertag, not the older one I want to use.

    Multiple gamertags on one account

    I have tried to clear cache and reinstall Minecraft but same problem. I have waited 24h since I changed the gamertag so it should have updated. I think the issue is in my microsoft-account since on my Xbox account page it shows both names. I can also change
    the gamertag again (without charge it seems) on the Xbox account page (see attached image), but "" is of course taken. So it looks like two different gamertags but on the same microsoft-account.

    I installed Minecraft on another android tablet and used another microsoft-account, changed gamertag and this updated immediately.

    Minecraft for android removed my java purchase, how do I recover it?

    I think I have only one since when I migrated my old account to a microsoft account I used the same email as the microsoft account I made from Minecraft for android. However doing so removed, like I've said, to my mojang migrated account that had my java Minecraft. By minecraft gaming, I mean whatever login I use when I click the sign in button

    I've linked my migration email with details, clearly showing that I had a java Minecraft account, and as for Minecraft for android well I already have access to it. However whenever I signed up on it, it removed my Mojang migrated account

    What Android version are you using on this Moto G6?

    Do you have another Android phone with one of the latest Android OS releases?
    Just to see if it’s just a bug that may appear with older versions of Android

    Minecraft Realms Purchase Not Working

    I couldn't find settings for DOB in Xbox, I am doing this from PC though. Can I access that info from my Xbox account on PC or do I need to on Xbox Console? And it shows in my family settings that it is only me, there are no other accounts on it.

    Another thing I am wanting to know is if my Xbox account is even involved with my Minecraft Account or is it just Microsoft? I don't own Minecraft on Xbox or anything just PC, Nintendo Switch, and Mobile.
