    Minecraft and Xbox switching accounts


    Hey y’all so me and my friend have been playing Minecraft bedrock for awhile now and earned so many things and I signed into a different account to help with something but now everytime I try and switch back I click the sign in with another account then it just keeps going back to that screen and it’s the same on the XBox app. Any ideas what’s going on or what I should do I’ve tried closing out, powering off, turning off and back on WiFi, and the last thing I can think of is deleting and reinstalling but it’s on my kindle and I don’t have 7 dollars to pay again

    It keeps sending invites to my phone

    By a switch I meant a Nintendo switch and when I get Minecraft invites instead of going to my Nintendo switch it instead goes to my mobile account on minecraft

    Sorry to hear about your account issues with Minecraft. We understand it is very frustrating for you and your son after purchasing content.

    You said the gamertag changed? Did your son log out of the game and maybe created a new account? You can check your account at https://account.microsoft.com.

    If you are having trouble logging into your account, you can use this article to Find your Microsoft account email address | Xbox Support or this one for your Password Reset or recover your lost Microsoft account password | Xbox Support

    For the game on the switch not showing the DLC you purchased, maybe these steps can help. According to our Minecraft for Nintendo Switch FAQ | Xbox Support:

    I own Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition and I’ve bought previous DLC. How do I get it to sync to Minecraft?

    1. Sign in to Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition on your Switch account. This will sync the latest purchases.
    2. Sign in to the Minecraft on your Switch and you’ll be automatically granted the entitlements for that DLC.
    Note For every purchase you make on the previous version, you must first sign in to Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition, exit, and then launch the newer Bedrock version for purchases to sync. DLC purchased within Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition remain only on your Nintendo Switch device and don’t carry over into other devices.

    Hi Alex,

    Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue with Minecraft Realms on the Nintendo Switch. Based on the message you received, it may be possible that your account doesn't have the correct permissions to access online multiplayer across different
    devices.

    Is your account a child or adult account? Players under 13 years old will have online multiplayer disabled by default with Minecraft and
    won’t be able to join Realms or servers unless a parent changes their account settings.
    For help with changing these account settings, you will need to change your
    Privacy and Online settings of the Xbox Live account.

    You can already earn Xbox achievements on a Nintendo switch.

    You need to log into an Xbox account on the bedrock edition of minecraft for Switch.

    Happy to see that they are taking further steps into this now.

    It would really help, if you described on which device you are trying to switch your account.

    Is that on Xbox, Windows 10 or are you trying to use a Microsoft Xbox Account on Minecraft for Switch or PS4?

    Also what steps have you already tried, and what error prevents you from switching your account?
