    So, I was playing Minecraft on Hypixel with my friend, and I couldn't see in the dark so I decided to use the options.txt trick to increase my gamma. So I did that, and then went back into MultiMC (which I use to launch Minecraft) to relaunch my game. Upon launching my game I was greeted with the message "You do not own Minecraft". Which is absurd, I bought it back in ~2016. So I thought it might be a technical bug, so I went to the standard Minecraft Launcher, and saw the same error message. Panicking, I went to minecraft.net, looked at the game and saw that it prompted me to buy it. I restarted my computer, logged in and out, nothing works. Please help me or refund me the game! I don't really have any straight proof except a bunch of logs from times that I played. Thanks in advance! (MC username: )

    EDIT:

    I can't even buy it again! Whenever I try to it says there is an error and that "Oops! Your cart is invalid. That can be either because you already own what you are trying to purchase or because the product you are trying to purchase can not be combined with what you already own." I click on more info and there's some mumbo-jumbo code stuff about how I already own it, but I clearly do not. Here's the code stuff: "{"success":false,"failedValidations":[{"name":"CANNOT_BUY_WHAT_IS_OWNED","firstProductName":"minecraft"}]}"

    Please answer the following question to assist you properly:

    Is your windows up to date and everything? (If not, please check for new updates via Windows settings)
    Are you on Windows 10 or 11?
    When this issue started happening?

    And, tell me which troubleshooting steps you have done so far to fix this, in that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed

    I am on Windows 10.

    My windows is completely up to date.

    I tried to restart my computer but it still didn't get fixed.

    Since my Microsoft account was linked to my Minecraft account I lost access to my Minecraft account cause someone deleted my Microsoft account. Now Im not sure what happens but I was wondering if i would be possible to link a diffrent Microsoft account to an already migrated Minecraft account.

    Unfortunately not. If the Microsoft account that your Minecraft account was migrated to was deleted then your Minecraft would be essentially deleted along with it.

    Unable to redeem Minecraft java even when owning Minecraft windows 10 edition.

    I'd forgot to mention that I had bought Minecraft Java on a different account. But after losing that account I had made a new account. When I switched over, I was given Minecraft bedrock (Minecraft windows 10 edition) not Minecraft Java.
