Minecraft Account rendered useless bc it was linked to a PS4 account. Need assistance to...

The linking accounts issue has become a problematic situation for me and was wondering if anyone else successfully navigated a similar situation.

Originally i purchased Minecraft bedrock for PS4, it prompted me to enter a Microsoft account which i entered the only MS Account i have (the one that i use for my Windows surface PC), and make all my
digital PC purchases through.

After some time, my sons and I wanted to play Minecraft on the PC while someone else could game on ther PS4. So it seemed like i needed to purchase another version of the game.. which i did. I naturally used
my windows account that i sign in with, to purchase another copy from the MS store.

Recent releases of the game allow cross-platform play, so we wanted to share worlds within that system and play with other friends online. I decided to purchase a realms subscription. However, when we tried
to log into the realms sever on the PC and ps4, the systems prevented these log-ins and said that the same Microsoft account could not access realms at the same time from 2 different places. Since I had purchased 2 versions of the game for each device I and
the realms subscription, i am unclear how this is an issue.

I next decided however inconvenient it may be i would register a new MS account and try to link that to my PS4, and free up my MS account with the game purchase (the one associated with my PC) to access the
game only via the PC. After creating a new MS account i attempted to login to my PS4 with that account. I was prompted that my PS4 account was already associated with another MS account and it could not be unlinked or associated with another account.

I found a couple of troubleshooting methods in some forums. I decided to try and see if i could determine if it was possible to unlink the accounts. So far i attempted to "unlink" my Microsoft account from
my ps4 by selecting the unlink account button in the Minecraft menu (in game). After that, i exited the game and deleted all the saved game files. That was unsuccessful as it still stated the PS4 account was associated with my prior account. Now I have
a PC and PS4 version of Minecraft, that are both unable to play online, on these devices.

I am unconcerned with losing any of the app data on either of the devices, but I cannot abandon either of these accounts because they are still in use for even greater amounts of content. I also dont feel
i should have to purchase another version of this game. It seems to make zero sense that there is a way to brick your games because you signed into the wrong system with them.

Has anyone had any experience with this issue and found any possible resolutions?
