Migration to Microsoft Rewards

So Microsoft rewards system is not open in all countries and especially in Europe it's only open in a few countries, and i am sure that a big margen of the xbox users live in Europe, what will happen to them when the "xbox reward system" migrates to the
Microsoft rewards will they be able to use Microsoft rewards or they should just forget about it, and not have the same opportunities as the others who live in microsoft rewards supported countries?

MyVIP Gems to Microsoft Rewards Points

From the Microsoft Rewards Migration FAQ: "any unredeemed MyVIP Gems will be converted to Microsoft Rewards points and can be used to redeem rewards from the Microsoft Rewards catalog once your membership is transitioned. One MyVIP Gem will
convert to one Microsoft Rewards point".

 

Will VIP gems be monetized if they are not redeemed by the time the program closes?

The migration is not global but country based, mostly involving countries where MS rewards has been running at 100% for some time. For countries where the change is taking place, info are provided on the reward page itself and to the FAQs page a new section
about the transition has been added at the beginning. Some countries, like Canada, have been migrated already last year. while all the others should keep the xbox reward system for the time being.

The transition to Microsoft Rewards from Xbox Live Rewards will only affect specific Xbox Live Rewards regions, where they will be transitioned to Microsoft Rewards. As a US member, you already have access to Microsoft Rewards, for example.
