Migrating my Minecraft account and creating an Xbox Live profile has left me unable to play...

I had a me.com (iCloud) account when I first created my Minecraft account. I migrated using that email. Now when I log in to Minecraft using that email, I get my son's Xbox profile. Strangely, when I go to the account management webpage, I see that an entirely different email address (an outlook.com email) is the one connected to that account.

I am unable to find a confirmation email regarding the migration. I know we both migrated, because we were playing the game regularly after the migration was required.

Hello, I have a similar but different problem. In my case, I migrated a Mojang account to a Microsoft account and ended up with two Xbox profiles. It seemed to me that the migration process created the second profile instead of re-using the existing one.

In the Minecraft Launcher, there are now two Xbox profiles available to choose from. One of them is indeed the migrated account and the other one is not (it contains all the other games associated with this Microsoft account except Minecraft).

I can play the Minecraft game, all realms are visible (own and friends) exactly as before the migration, all good so far. But my own realm has expired despite it being automatically renewed up until the migration (I think the migration terminated the auto subscription).

My problem is now that I can not log into the Minecraft Realms service with the Microsoft account because the default Xbox profile is not the one with the migrated Mojang account. It seems that the Minecraft Realms service makes assumptions about the associated Xbox tag and uses the default to identify the user, or at least it seems that way. It doesn't recognize that a Microsoft account can have several Xbox profiles/tags associated with it.

So does that count as mojang account created to make that minecraft profile, or the account that was migrated with?
If its the latter, again, the account email was changed.

I migrated my minecraft account and even got a confirmation but it never gave me the screen to create xbox profile and gamertag..... I have only the old laucher to log in not through microsoft . How do I get to that since I already own the game?
