Migrated my minecraft account, can no longer play

I migrated my mojang account to microsoft earlier today, and could play the game just fine then. When I went to log in a little bit ago, everythings gone and it tells me I have to buy the game. I've logged out of the launcher, and logged in with the appropriate microsoft account multiple times, changed my password, restarted my computer, everything.

    :)

Hi LinwoodBarr! My name is Ricardo an independent advisor ready to help you with this situation!

Are you on the Microsoft login section? When you start the launcher you need to select go back and there you choose Microsoft login

Also confirm in your mailbox that this is the account that has the Migration confirmation

    Account Recovery/Migration

    Hello Wayne Lau1,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

Mojang accounts were migrated for a period of time with the aim of moving all players' Minecraft accounts under Microsoft accounts. This migration process involved transferring data and game information related to Mojang accounts to the new Microsoft account system. During the migration, players will receive detailed instructions and steps on how to perform the migration via email. This means that during the migration process, players only need to follow the guidelines to seamlessly transfer their Minecraft game progress, purchase history, and other account information to their Microsoft account.

However, with the passage of time, the deadline for Minecraft account migration has ended and new Mojang account migration requests are no longer being accepted. In other words, you will no longer be able to log in to Minecraft using your old Mojang account. all players must access and log in to Minecraft through their Microsoft account. as a result of this change, any players who have not completed the account migration will no longer be able to continue to play with their original Mojang account.

In order to continue playing, you will need to log in to Minecraft with a Microsoft account, and if you don't already have a Microsoft account, you can easily create one and associate it with your Minecraft game. Note that the only way to purchase Minecraft is through a Microsoft account, so if you wish to repurchase or continue using Minecraft, it is recommended that you purchase and use a Microsoft account to play the game.

To summarize, with the migration process complete, Microsoft accounts are now the only way to log in to Minecraft. We recommend creating and using a Microsoft account to purchase and log into Minecraft as soon as possible.

You can also contact the support staff of the corresponding game to find out why.

    Best regards

    Request for Migration Cape Assistance

Thanks but this was sended directly to me after i posted it:

    Hello,

As of December 18, 2023, Minecraft Support is no longer providing assistance with migration-related requests as the migration period has already expired.

We had been reminding Minecraft players in monthly emails to migrate their accounts from June 2021. In 2022, notifications were sent out informing players of game restrictions for non-migrated accounts. The migration end date was extended several times during the two-year period, finally ending in September 2023, at which point players would no longer be able to log in to their accounts on minecraft.net, or in the launcher, if Legacy/Mojang accounts were not migrated.

After the migration was completed in 2023, we offered a 90-day grace period during which affected players received a new game license. This grace period ended in December 2023.

Please note that accounts can no longer be migrated and refunds can no longer be requested for these accounts. Our migration process was conducted in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

is there a way to reset my minecraft account email back to the one that was used to signup and redo migration

Hi there! This is Ronnie, an independent advisor.

Nice to meet you and I hope you are having a great day!

I understand you need help with your Minecraft account problem.

Just a heads up that migration can no longer be reverted, once the account has been migrated, you can no longer change that account where it was being migrated to.

You can try recovering the account through Microsoft if needed.

    Mojang Post-Migration Error

Hello, my name is Oskayra I am independent advisor and I will be happy to help you today.

Unfortunately, the deadline for migrating your Minecraft account to a Microsoft account with entitlement to Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition has passed. The migration process was open until May 10, 2023, and accounts that were not migrated by then are no longer eligible for the free Java Edition entitlement.

If you purchased Minecraft before the migration deadline, you will still be able to play Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. However, you will no longer be able to claim a free copy of Minecraft: Java Edition.

If you are still interested in playing Minecraft: Java Edition, you will need to purchase it separately from the Microsoft Store.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Thank you very much for your patience and understanding! If you need anything else, do not hesitate to contact us again.
