Migrated Minecraft Account, Perpetual Forced Password Reset

I recently migrated my Minecraft account, and followed all the steps to make sure it was done properly (new account add, etc), and it worked wonderfully until I logged out and then attempted to log back in the next day. Despite numerous back and forth with Minecraft Support, I have been directed to Xbox Support (with a frustrating and fruitless virtual assistant). After clicking around, I'm now here - Microsoft is making me reset my password on every or every other login, and I don't know why.

I'm currently at about my fourth or fifth password reset in a week, and my account seems to be both properly migrated and properly added to the launcher. I'm not sure if this is a broader problem with Microsoft, however, since I'm also being forced to (less often) reset my completely unrelated Skype account, and both Skype and Minecraft will frequently quit processes if I try to have both open at the same time.

Is there some way I can get Microsoft to stop forcing me to reset my password?

The launcher itself loads fine, but when it comes to actually playing the game, in comes the issue with resetting my password.

Im curious, is it an issue where the game isnt launching? or just password resets?

I'm sorry you are having issues with Minecraft, I know you and your son are frustrated. I will do my best to help you through this.

I understand you keep resetting the password, but see if any of these work. There have been a lot of people having issues due to the migration.

Here are some options according to the Minecraft support site - Minecraft: Java Edition Login Issues FAQ

To reset the password for a Minecraft account (where you log in with your username) you need to visit account.mojang.com/migrate and migrate your account to a Mojang account. After doing this you will be able to reset your password.
To reset the password for a Mojang account (where you log in with your email address) visit the Forgot Password page. 
To reset the password for a Microsoft account visit the  forgotten password guide from Microsoft.

the thing is,the only reason i made the account was to migrate to microsoft,and the password reset system requires you to have used the account before to help verify that you own the account i cant change the password if ive never used the account for anything other than migrating to microsoft on minecraft

1. Open Minecraft Launcher

2. Delete all accounts that are in the launcher

3. In the launcher log in with the email and password of the Microsoft account you used to migrate
