Migrated Minecraft Account, New Microsoft Account Insists I Don't Own Minecraft

1. Please double-check you are logging in to the same Microsoft account you used to migrate your Mojang account.

2. Make sure you are not logging in with your Mojang account. Migrated accounts will only be able to log in with your Microsoft account.

Once confirmed that you're using the Microsoft where you migrated your Mojang account kindly sign out on your Minecraft launcher then restart before signing back in.

I appreciate you reaching out. That FAQ and those steps were the first things I did. Needless to say, since I posted this question they didn’t fix the issue. Totally understand the “have you tried turning it off and on again” response though. I’ve also tried logging in via the old launcher as well as the new to see if it was a launcher issue.

Also if your Microsoft account already owns Minecraft does that means you don't have to migrate or you just can't migrate and let your account be locked

So back on late 2021 my account was hacked then migrated to a Microsoft account. I have already contacted Minecraft support but they said that they could not help me since my account was already migrated, and that I should contact Microsoft support instead. I still have the transaction ID and the name of the account.

Wait. So you are saying before you could migrate your minecraft account to your own Microsoft account someone else got into your minecraft account and migrated it to their own Microsoft account first?

Hello again, I don't know what kind of email you used to open your Minecraft account, if you used an email with a Microsoft domain you can try to retrieve it using the form, however if it wasn't, I believe that Mojang support informed you correctly and it will not be possible to recover your account.

What happened was they had a minecraft account with Mojang (it had NOT been migrated to a Microsoft account yet) and someone got into his Mojang account and then proceeded to migrate his minecraft account to their own Microsoft account (not one the OP owns)
