    Hello. My minecraft account has been in the hands of someone else for a few months alredady. The e-mail of the account has been changed. I have proof of activity on the account and payment aswell. is there something i can do?

    Glad to see your response. My problem is that the e-mail's account has been changed. I asked Minecraft.net for help, but they couldn't do anything since my account was migrated to microsoft. My microsoft account is doing just well, but i was asking if my MINECRAFT account can be recovered. Thank you!

    well if I'm supposed to contact this community forum about it, what's stopping you? Is it just some arbitrary and anti-consumer company policy put in place?

    okay so lets do this step by step.

    Nope! still no button, but i did notice something interesting, you see, on steps 2.1 and 2.2 it mentions redeeming a code...now heres the fun part, turns out i did both of those, turns out i actually did steps 1- 8 entirely already on September 25th 2023.
    the reason i can confirm this, is because the reason the button is missing is because i've already done it, i figured that out by going to here

    which takes us here and oh my it says i already own it!

    Included is me signed in to this account to prove i do infact own it, but if you need more proof.

    ..thats me! in the launcher, with my already claimed and migrated microsoft account and both versions of minecraft!

    so that gets us all the way back to the original problem, with new insights.
    turns out i'd already migrated only a few days after the original deadline. (still stupid to have one, just to reiterate.)
    I'd already claimed my migrated copy of bedrock and java.
    and now theres one little problem left, you will notice in the above screenshot you see the words "Player", highlighted below.

    when i type "***********D", my username, it still gives me this, the same thing its been giving me since september, the first day i migrated.

    It cant be taken, the only account to ever own that name on java is MY ACCOUNT.
    which means that the account was "deactivated" and not deleted, which means my username is just in the void, and i cannot play java.
    so with all that out of the way, lets address more of your points.

    yea that wasnt complicated to understand, however regardless of the intention i need you to understand that that FAQ is missing stuff and support on that link doesnt exist. Seriously half of this stuff in this image doesn't even exist in the article.

    I know your probably scripted to say that but you might as well just flat out tell me to toss my complaints and feedback in the garbage bin. Plus, feedback doesnt get my account back, it just means i yell into the void, and get an automated email telling me my feedback is appreciated or some corporate blanketing of that nature roughly 5 minutes later. clearly even with 10,000+ people yelling at you guys to stop stupid stuff like the mob vote you dont listen so what hope does 1 complaint/feedback have.

    I really dont wanna sit here every time and throw your corporate book back at you and play games or whatever, its not hard to give me the account's data back, or reinstate it properly.
    Can we just get the proper people involved and get it over with? theres tons of evidence that your company has put out that the data is still there but not deleted for security concerns and name opening at a later date.

    I probably sound agitated, and to be honest i am, and I'm justified. but let me be clear its not directed at you, just the company you represent and the scripts they force you to give me.
