    If I’m correct, it typically requires a forced shutdown. Or pulling the power cord? Why was it designed like that?

    XB1 reboots when I click on Apps and Games tile

    The hard reboot clears the memory cache so that's why it take a time reloading. Might just be a glitch with the software. Expect some updates.

    You might need to clear your cache. I've read in other threads this are anti-piracy software related errors. the link Tgeekster posted will have all the instructions. Skip down to cache clearing for starters.

    Clearing the market place cache might help. You do that by going into your memory, down to system items, delete rights database and marketplace system data. Then clear system cache and might want to recover gamertag as well...

    Now I need to ask... Why did it take Microsoft so long to say something in the first place? Were they considering it? Will they implement it later with a software patch?
