Mics rock band 4 and xbox one

    Why are we so limited with mics on xbox one and rock band 4 ..It should be that if a mic works on microsoft PC like windows 10 it should work on rock band 4 or any other xbox one game..I was hoping when we went to XB4 I could use my stage and studio mics
    with converters to usb input.. But the old wireless xb360 mics wont work on xb4.. I do not understand that is it works on a PC with windows 10 why it wont on xbox one... can you help the kids love the real mics makes it look like a studio and they dig pretending

    Rock Band 4 DLC export - some recently bought DLC on Xbox 360 Rock Band 3 is not showing as purchased on Xbox One.

    Same issue here. Some songs showed up in Rock Band 4, others did not. They show up in the Xbox Store, and I can download them through the store, but they do not show up in the Rock Band store. Only available as purchase.

    The Xbox store shows that I have bought them (search, addons for Rock Band on Xbox One), the Xbox store allows me to install them, Rock Band 4 doesn't recognize them.

    Yes I would have thought it would be fine. I have played Rock Band 1/2 and Green Day Rock band using all the guitar hero instruments (guitar,drums and mics) without any problems.

    Sorry you used to be able to use you headset as a mic in Rock Band. They changed it in Rock Band 3 for some reason. You can only use a rock band or guitar hero mic on rock band 3. But you can still use it for Rock Band 1,2

    xBox360 controllers compatability with xBoxOne

    Microsoft confirmed just before the backward compatibility started that games that required peripherals such as Rock Band, Lips, DJ Hero, Guitar Hero would not be backward compatible as the peripherals were not compatible with the Xbox One.

    You can use the Xbox 360 wireless instruments on the Xbox One using the Rock Band 4 adapter, but only for Rock Band 4

    Rock band is not backwards compatible. Rock Band 4 is available for purchase for the One. The guitar from the 360 would not be compatible.

    The games themselves aren't BC. you can get rock band 4 and use your old 360 instruments via this adapter!
