technically, you can't be 100% sure about that.

The best thing to do is just not sure your info with a stranger.

Only people you fully trust.

I wouldn't recommend doing that fod your own safety.

 

I wouldn't share my account information with anyone. There isn't a way to prevent that. You can make them part of you family account to share some features of gold, but there are some restrictions to that.

If you want to share a Microsoft account but still want to retain control then:

first thing I don't recommend you share passwords at all but I you are still willing to take the risk, then in that case make sure that you have access to the E-mail ID the registered for the account, in that case if anyone signs in to your account you will
receive a security mail, thus at any point in time you can change the password of that account using that Email sent.

If in any case that wasn't work you can always hit "Forgot password" on the sign in page, and change your password from there.

It is a code of conduct violation to share your account login details, with another person. For that reasone alone, why risk it. They could do all sorts of stuff, change your details, send messages that violate code of conduct. They also have access to
your billing information.

 

Besides being a bad idea in general it's also a violation of the TOS, I wouldn't do it.
