Yes they are, especially the Ps4 but would the Xbox1 and the Ps4 be able to keep it up, or will most turn to Pc, you also have the Oculus Rift, and Steam entering the gaming market.

Ok why PS4 sold like 7M and XB1 sold half this. And if you attenction to console business. It dosen't really pick up a year after it luanch in the markit. There going be 100's of games on both consoles between E32014 and E3 2015.

Why exactly would Microsoft bother competing with the juggernaut that is the Nintendo 3DS when doing so would mean more risk than reward? Kanaye x posted a video on the second page of this thread eloquently explaining why the
PSP Vita is falling so far behind. There would be no way Microsoft would want to enter that fray when they would be starting at the same disadvantage as the Vita did.

Give that Shuhei Yoshida (the president of Sony Computer Entertainment Studios) has already confirmed that they
are scaling back development of first party PS Vita games
, what benefit would there be to Microsoft?

  5. It's a shame the Vita hasn't done as well as it should. It is a damn fine piece of gaming hardware, got one myself. But with only about 5 million units sold, its future looks rather bleak. I'm not even sure it's PS4 linking features or the Vita TV can
    save it either.

Microsoft would be making a huge mistake entering the handheld games market.

I think it's too late for Microsoft to enter handheld market, they have no experience with handhelds and it's already dominated by mobile gaming, 3Ds and the Ps Vita btw the Ps Vita does still does have hope, it's just that Sony's being lazy, not reducing
the memory card prices, needs more games and it's not advertised well enough, the system has so much potential especially with it's unique features but Sony doesn't bother making games that would use those feature, plus Sony didn't barely mention anything
about the Ps Vita in E3, even the Sega Game Gear was more successful than the Vita.

The thing is Microsoft doesn't have a handheld, these are the reasons why Microsoft should create a handheld system, it would be much more successful than the Kinect ever was.

It's simple really, all Sony has to do is promote their system, they have to make games for it and get 3rd party support, btw the Ps Vita didn't sold 4 million it sold 10 million roughly, but that's still bad in terms of Sony sales or in comparison to the
3Ds, if the Ps Vita had games, sold with the Ps4 as a bundle, dropped the memory card prices, advertised their system, then the sales would of been a lot higher, just like the Wii U, lack of games and promotion.
