    Microsoft's Handheld System

Why doesn't Microsoft make a handheld system, mobiles don't count, perhaps a portable Xbox that uses the Xbox One interface, a system that has built in controls like the PsVita or the 3Ds but with it's own layout like the Xbox One controller, playing Xbox
on the go and using the remote play game integration with the console would be awesome.

The handheld would come close to console like graphics and gameplay, also being able to play most games from the Xbox live marketplace. The controls would have built in storage 4gb, 8gb versions, Sd card slot, dual button analogue sticks, A,B, X, Y, Triggers,
Start and Select plus a Home button, cameras front and back, touchscreen, bluetooth, exclusives, 3rd party support, rechargeable battery micro usb and a motion sensor.

Share your ideas, what would make a Xbox Handheld system awesome.

    :)

When will Xbox make a portable system?

Sony made the Vita even though that didn't go well
Nintendo has made a lot of handhelds the latest one being the switch
Where is Microsoft's Portable Handheld gaming system?

    Hand held xbox

Wasn't Zune originally the code name they used for a handheld console, which then turned into a Walkman/iPod competitor, then changed over to just Microsoft's music software?

A phone is touch screen and extremely uncomfortable to use when playing complex games like 1st person shooters, horror games, fighting games, open world games, side scrollers, sports games, driving games etc, the touch screen is only good for puzzle games
and some Rpg's, you would need a controller attachment to play complex games on your phone, which can be really expensive, too big to fit in your pocket, or just aren't going to work, a device such as a handheld is going to fix all those problems since it's
going to have a built in controller and it's going to have one purpose and that is going to be games, a phone is more about camera's, apps and operating systems, than games plus it looks hideous when you attach a controller to your phone.

Or maybe not, some next gen games are going to use a remote play feature to control vehicles, character etc in the game for example the Devision using a tablet or a phone, when most are touch screen is going to be really uncomfortable to use, when compared
to a handheld when all the controls are there, Microsoft also has really good exclusives plus this would be a whole lot better than the Kinect.

I'd be willing to bet that traditional handhelds will be gone from the market in less than 10 years.

Handhelds will not die but evolve, look at the Gameboy, it sold 60 million plus, look at the Ds, it sold 153.99 million plus, the second best selling system in gaming history, the Ps Vita sold 10 million plus, the Psp sold 76.3-80 million, nearly as much
as the Ps3 and Xbox 360, the 3Ds sold more than the Wii U, handheld= attention and success.

Just because you don't like Microsoft's handheld, that doesn't change the fact that it is what it is.

    Microsoft's Handheld System

The thing is Microsoft doesn't have a handheld, these are the reasons why Microsoft should create a handheld system, it would be much more successful than the Kinect ever was.

Microsoft does have a handheld. It's called Windows Phone. You can use to play games and unlock achievements all day. Like I said, just because you don't like it, doesn't change the fact that it is what it is.

Also, don't make random speculations and then regard them as facts like you can see the future. That will never help your case in any aspect of life.
