1. Microsoft Xbox Wireless Headset on PC , chat /game balance does not work

    Hello guys.

I just bought a Microsoft Xbox Wireless Headset as you are aware already , on ear left cup is a control for chat/game balance mix ... which for xbox console is working perfectly but on WIndows it simply doesnt exist... but according to Official FAQ it should

    https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/accessories/xbox-wireless-headset-faq

    "

Game/chat audio balance works on PC if you’re connected with an Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows, or if you use the headset with Surface devices that have the Xbox Wireless radio built in. Experiences may vary by game or app. The audio balance dial is not supported over Bluetooth."

So i have a single output on My windows PC - > called Headset[Xbox Controller]

Yes i tried with Microsoft Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 [ which i bought separately and special to use chat/game mix balance]

Yes i tried wired connect to my Windows 10 - again everything works .. headset visible in Xbox accessories ms app ... volume ear right cup is working EXCEPT ear left cup is a control for chat/game balance mix

So after looong hours of troubleshooting , hard resenting , disconnecting reconnecting , unparring and paring again this is my conclusion..

On my xbox console . headset have chat/game mix balance and work PERFECT

On PC Windows 10/11 chat/game mix doesn't exist is a false advertising...

    REQUEST:

If some one have this headset and made them work for PC and have two separate channel

2.Game like other vendors do to put chat output for discord ... game for cs.go or whatever... Please let me know at least i know if it possible or it is a lie and i will return the product in a store...

Does anyone know if Tritton Warheads 7.1's will work on an Xbox one?
Microsoft are releasing an adaptor
They are working on a
wired adapter from the controller to conventional cabled headsets. The controller handles the communication to and from the console. The headsets handle mixing the chat audio with the game audio.

The Warhead does not use a cable. The Warhead's base station pairs with the 360 console, same as Microsoft's first party wireless chat mics do. It is the
only third party headset that does this. Microsoft is not working on an Xbox One to 360 wireless protocol converter.
Seems silly not to buy the console of choice in favour of your headset when an adapter will be available?
    The
Warhead is unique in its fully wireless operation. There will be no adapter for it.

If you throw away $300 on a headset designed to work with a single product (Warhead's mic doesn't work with PC or PS3), then you shouldn't have a problem buying another one that's Xbox One-specific.

Xbox One controller support to listen to audio exclusively

Yeah just get the chat adapter and plug any headphones with the standard 3.5mm stereo jack and your good to go. Just set the balance on the chat adapter to full game/system audio and your good to go for wireless audio from your controller like the Ruku remote
does. $25 for the adapter, but if you get one of the headsets designed as a wireless headset through the controller for the Xbox One they all come with the chat adapter as well.

Polk 4 Shot vs TB Ear Force Atlas

If you need all-wireless on all four consoles, you'll want a wireless headset that works with the 360/PS3/PC and then the chat adapter for Xbox One. The PS4's DS4 controller has a chat/headset connector built into the controller already.

    Is the tritton warhead compatible
If the cable imput is only for audio then there would be absolutely no way for the mic to work on the headset to begin with.
The physical boom mic, or the chat audio?

This question/conversation is not about the physical boom mic, it's about the chat audio.
That said, there's no reason that the headset should work but not the mic, except maybe the protocols.
    It's the wireless
    protocol that won't work.

    See
    this wireless headset
? The only thing this wireless headset does is handle chat conversations between other Xbox Live members. You don't get regular game audio through it. To function, the wireless headset pairs with the 360 console and runs over the same
wireless protocol as 360 controllers. Tritton integrated the functionality of that wireless headset into their own. The Warhead's base station has a pairing button, just like the wireless headset. The base station takes care of mixing the chat audio and the
game audio, but without that pairing to the 360 there's no way to get chat audio into the base station.

Microsoft explicitly stated that the wireless protocol between the Xbox One and its accessories is different than the protocol used by 360 accessories. Because the wireless headset uses these same protocols, it won't work on the Xbox One. By extension, the
wireless pairing that the Warhead does with the 360 console won't work with the Xbox One console.

The Tritton Warhead is a headset designed for use only with the Xbox 360. Without a 360 console, it becomes a regular set of headphones, rendering the boom mic useless. If all you want to do is listen to game audio, that's not a dealbreaker.
If you want to talk to other gamers in realtime, you're looking at buying a new headset.

Astro? Turtle Beach? Their wireless headsets will work with the Xbox One, including their mics, because they all currently plug into the 360 controller for chat audio. The controller handles the wireless link to the 360 for the chat audio, but from the audio
port on the controller to the headset is all bog standard 2.5mm headset territory. MS is working on an adapter to allow older 360-compatible headset cables to attach to the new Xbox One controller, again allowing headsets to piggyback on the controller for
chat audio. The Warhead? Out of luck. No cable, no piggyback.

It's this tight coupling to the 360's wireless protocol for chat audio that caused me to ignore the Warhead's development and shipment to market. As soon as I saw that it was bound to the 360, I said this is going to end badly for a $300 headset. My Astro
A40s with a Mixamp 5.8? My friend's Astro A50s? They'll both be fully functional with the Xbox One.

Xbox One Wired Chat Headset on PC

the original headset does not come with a 3.5mm jack but comes with a hardwired adapter that only plugs into the controller, no other way to connect it to the pc other than using a wired xbox controller or the wireless adapter with controller.

be better buying a one hear chat headset from turtle beach that has 3.5mm, or even better any usb headset as pc works with all including usb headsets.
