    MICROSOFT XBOX APP SPECIFICALLY IS THE MOST BROKEN APP ON MICROSOFT WINDOWS!!!


    3 times!!! 3 Times this app has come and gone on my brand new desktop computer...working fine, then failing 100% where I am unable to reinstall and fix without completely reinstalling windows. This most recent time, I found an outside forum post from years
    ago that fixed the problem because not only does it destroy itself, it destroys windows update! The most recent time it took only a week!!!! A week to reoccur to where I could not open the app, or reinstall/repair the app!!! I managed to get windows to update
    again and get the app running again...however...now the app locks up my entire computer while it is running after a certain amount of time where I have no choice but to force my computer to shut down!!! THIS IS A MICROSOFT APPLICATION!!!! HOW IS IT SO BROKEN!?
    HOW ARE THEY CHARGING FOR AN APPLICATION THAT DOES WORSE THAN MOST COMPUTER VIRUSES!?

    I have searched through many Microsoft forum posts and elsewhere for help...only receiving help from unofficial forums as this issue has clearly been primarily ignored by Microsoft and others have had to fix it....How does MICROSOFT happen to be the only
    cloud/multiplatform company that does not know how to function on MICROSOFT WINDOWS!?!?!?!? Playstation, Stadia, Luna, Etc.....no issue....XBOX 3x and running, PC BREAKING ISSUES!!!! (Sorry, I should be more clear... MICROSOFT WINDOWS BREAKING ISSUES). The
    xbox app seems to run perfectly fine outside of their own OS.....

    Xbox app for PC does not automatically update any games

    Same issue here, and upgrading to Windows 11 Beta did not resolve it. At this point it's pretty clear that the XBox app, and Windows Stor integration with it, is totally broken. Is there a way to bring this more to Microsoft's attention?

    Kindly run the Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter

    Windows 11 has a built-in troubleshooter for fixing Microsoft Store app issues. Here's how to run it:

    Open Settings (Windows + I).

    Go to System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.

    Find and click on Windows Store Apps under Most frequent.

    Click Run and follow the on-screen instructions.

    Next is to sign in to the Microsoft Store. Please ensure that you are signed in to the Microsoft Store with the same account you use to install the Xbox app.

    Open Microsoft Store.

    Click on the profile icon in the top-right corner and sign in with your Microsoft account.

    Once signed in, search for the Xbox app in the Microsoft Store and try installing it again.

    Then kindly clear the Microsoft Store and Xbox App Data. Open Settings (Windows + I).

    Go to Apps > Installed Apps.

    Scroll down to find Microsoft Store and Xbox App.

    Click on Microsoft Store, then click Advanced options. Choose Reset.

    Do the same for the Xbox app by selecting Advanced options and then Reset.

    After resetting both apps, restart your PC and try installing the Xbox app again.

    After that is to manually Install the Xbox App. To do this, please visit the Xbox App page on the Microsoft Store.

    Click Get to download and install the Xbox app manually.

    If you're prompted to open the Microsoft Store, ensure that you're logged in with the correct Microsoft account.
