Microsoft won't service my xbox one design lab controller?

So I did a custom Xbox One controller as a gift Christmas of last year. The controller has been working just fine and just randomly stopped working. (no bumps, drops, spills, ect.) My warranty was out but servicing wasn't even given as a option. It just says "There are no service options available". It was $130 so I wanted to try and fix it first as it was just working and that's a pretty penny to just dish out again. Is there a way I can get this serviced by Microsoft, and if not do places offer an option to service controllers?

Xbox doesn't repair this devices, those are replaced every time you request a service, so this is probably why standard controllers don't get an out of warranty replacement option,
