Microsoft wont refund my purchase

I bought a giftcard from the Microsoft store, beliving it to be digital, but it was instead a pyshical card, (100% my mistake) But microsoft refuses to refund my purchase. I have changed my homes in the past week, and i pressed complete pourchase and the autofill put my old address- will there be any way to get refunded

No as with any prepaid card there is no refunds

you have to wait till it returns or just contact the previous address to forwarded to yoi

Or e even better pay for a forwarding address at your local post office

Fyi you dont buy digital codes from ms or sony you can gift them but it would br at the time of purchase but you don't buy currency cards for your own account usually you would just buy the game in question

You need physical cards or buy from a third party to load up balances

Since ms and sony are platform you just bill the game directly onto your payment method

This is not Amazon where it is a third party

This is why post delivers have a headache, of people that move houses and DONT change the adresses. Hope you learned your lesson

if you have used the game for more than 2 hours then you wont get a refund, they wont switch it to pc either as microsoft dont sell it for pc, you would need to purchase through battlenet/activision.

I used a non relodable card upon purchase and when i had to refund the money didnt refund onto the card because it wont reload, is it possible to be refunded the money on my microsoft account?

No. Refunds are always sent to the original payment method.

Even nonreloadable cards can be reloaded when it comes to something being refunded. I know from experience.

That being said some prepaid cards can take up to 60 days for a refund to appear
