    Microsoft Will Not Be Held Accountable For It's Own Mistakes


    It seems as though Microsoft has put a lot of time and money in making sure they can not be held responsible for mistakes they make on customers' accounts. A few years back I was having an issue with accessing my account gamertag... the tech support department
    helped me with that with no problem... or so I thought... fast foward to last year when I decided to add 12 more months to my gamertag using the xbox unit's direct interface to make the transaction... it turns out through several hours of sleuthing that the
    tech support department created a new primary email address without my knowledge in order to solve the access problem I had... way to go... and so when I made the purchase to extend my xbox live for another 12 months... it was automatically added to another
    gamertag that was abandoned nearly 10 years ago... wonderful... on top of that... customer service was willing to explain how they are not responsible for their own mistake for nearly 3 hours... how kind of them... and they were not willing to switch over
    the gold access to the correct account for what would be the remainder of the 12 months... so when I asked to speak to a supervisor, they terminated the call... clearly this is why microsoft is well known for their excellent customer service... feel free to
    add to this with your own experience... would like to know how other customers with similar issues traversed customer service with a postive result... xboxrox

    log in to that 10 year old account and cencel the sub, it should refund or request a refund.

    My mistake, sorry, the console starts but the boot screen does not appear,

    I held it for about 30 minutes and no sign, just that the console button is on and that's it.

    Hello,

    Yes you can use your own credit card for multiple accounts. There's no problems with doing that, just make sure that they are your own accounts and your not letting someone else use your cards. That would be a big risk that you would be taking and if something
    happened then only you would be held responsible, Microsoft wouldn't be.

    I have two gold accounts using the same payment method so it shouldn't be a problem.

    Almost a week in and I still can't play Unity!!! Really! Frick'n Really!!!

    Been out of gaming for a while and this is the 1st console I've bought in 10 years. Naturally I went back to Microsoft and the Xbox. As much as I hate to let 1 game persuade me, I'm feeling like this was a mistake. I know the issue ultimately lies with Ubisoft
    but Microsoft and the Xbox brand need to be held accountable as well.

    If this is the best that Microsoft and its affiliates have to offer now then I'm chalking this console up as a loss.
