Microsoft Treasure Hunt right side of the screen is cut off.

Snaggy - easy screenshots Here is a screenshot. I have tried everything to make it work but im starting to think the game needs updated. It works fine in windows 8.1 but not windows 10. Is there a fix
for this?

Microsoft Treasure Hunt game screen does not fill properly.

Since update to version 10547 of Windows 10 preview, the side-scrolling is not working properly. The right edge of play area "FADES" away when nearing the EXIT. Screen bricks go to black, everything 'disappears' even though you can maneuver in the dark,
you can stumble into unmarked traps. Eventually you can find the EXIT to next level.

The game, Treasure Hunt, has lost the right side of the playing board. How do I get it back? I can't find the Exit..

Any help?

When you are playing the game, are you playing it in full screen view, or standard desktop view?

 

Ive tried playing it in both. If I make the screen really tiny then I can see the end of the level. But I dont really want to play it on a tiny screen.

 

so I guess there is no fix. Well I hope they update the game someday and it fixes then.

Me too! Display was fine before Windows 10 upgrade. Now the only way to finish a game is to switch to portrait view on my tablet where it will scroll to the level exit tile, only the game board frame is cut off. The MS Minesweeper "Adventure" board, which
is the same as the Treasure Hunt board, displays correctly, but the game is boring. Hope MS fixes Treasure Hunt soon, but seems like no one is making it a priority.

I'm having the same problem, and it's driving me nuts!!

I'm going to try switching to a tiny window to see if that helps because I keep bumping into traps that I can't see at the end of the level.

 

I found a SOLUTION to this problem!

I put my computer in tablet mode and have to move my taskbar to the left of the screen. Both must be done to have the screen fully show. Then the game plays properly.

(Sorry Microsoft, the version upgrade caused this bug that stopped some from enjoying this game.)

ALSO, I found a solution to the game "resetting" when exiting the bonus play room.

I have to turn off my internet. Airplane mode is easiest way. Since doing this my game has never been put back to the beginning.

(Sorry Microsoft, the ads cause a glitch that reset my games multiple times.)

I don't know why but it is the graphics card. After upgrading to windows 10 on a old PC that had a AMD that was from 12 years ago it worked perfectly fine. No matter the screen. Also my new computer with a Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 TI and it still works
flawlessly. Yet all my old laptops with integrated graphics never seems to work. So if you have an old laptop that is the only way to fix it as you mentioned above. If you have a desktop with a dedicated graphics card it works perfectly. I will never buy
a laptop unless it is cheap and for work only. They suck beyond imagination. You cannot upgrade parts and everything becomes obsolete. The only fix is buying a new laptop. So in turn never buy a laptop for gaming. If you do, expect a lot of problems down the
road.
