account. If you are wanting the account to be an adult account, you can submit an
Age verification Form,you can also
submit proof of age.



After submitting this form, you will receive email confirmation and follow up emails. Also will get instructions on how you monitor the status of your request. Please do not fill out multiple requests. You can expect an email response usually
within 3 days.

I was very blessed to have the assistance of the Microsoft Xbox expert, Norie, who assisted in resolving the issue.

You have to access the child account on Microsoft. The child account should have its own e-mail address registered on Microsoft, the same as the main account. I did not know this previously and, with the assistance of Norie, found out that for my son to have created an account at all, he would have had to register the child account with an e-mail address (he used my gmail address as I was not using it at all). You should be able to access the child account on Microsoft the same way you access yours. Go to sign into your account. Sign into Microsoft with the e-mail address used to register the child profile. Then you go to the option 'Microsoft Account' (sometimes you have to scroll to the waaayyyyy bottom for this) and once you are in 'Microsoft Account' choose 'Subscription' where you should be able to cancel the subscription to Fortnite Crew. I just want to clarify, is your grandchild's Microsoft account already added to the Microsoft family?

Also, is your grandchild's account birthdate registered as 22 years old or older?

If the account is detected as a child account, you will not be able to manage its own privacy settings but in order to do so you will need assistance from an adult Microsoft account.

Note: A child account is registered on the birthdate 21 years old and below upon the account's first creation

It may be possible that the system has detected that your Microsoft account is a child account.

If so, the problem here is that even if managing your child account's Xbox privacy settings, it only applies to Xbox One, not Xbox 360. Xbox One parental settings don't apply to Xbox 360 marketplace as they aren't the same.

In order for us to isolate the case further, please use an adult Microsoft account and purchase a gamer tag on Xbox 360 console.

(If you have no adult Microsoft accounts, kindly create one as a dummy account as part of our troubleshooting steps.)

Usually that means you have registered a child account and your parental account needs to give permits for you to play online

I checked with my Microsoft account and I says that my account is an Adult account.
