    Microsoft Sudoku failures


    Recently my Microsoft Sudoku challenges have been VERY slow starting and the game also loses track of completed challenges.

    Slow every day, forgot a challenge today and 2 days ago. Had to repeat to get credit.

    There seems to be some problems with the service.

    Let's hope MS fixes it soon.

    Sudoku Game Failure

    I too have been trying for three days to access Microsoft Sudoku and get error message although I can access all other games. I called Microsoft Support as I use Xbox on Windows 10. They transferred me to Xbox Support and they
    cannot help because they only support the Xbox machines and I was told to call Windows Support. This was a 30 minute series of calls and when I told them I was transferred to Xbox from Windows support, they had NO answers. What is the point of the discussion
    threads when no one from Microsoft looks at them or tries to help?     I have the phone number for Microsoft Corp. in Redmond, Washington, but I don't have a lot of trust that I will get any help there. Just wanted all you frustrated people to know how fruitless
    this is.

    Hello, I am sorry that you are having issues with Microsoft Sudoku recently. Many of the Microsoft Service games (Solitaire, Bingo , etc.) have been experiencing issues of lost completed challenges and other things. Other users are submitting support tickets
    detailing the issues and I would encourage you to do the same on support.xbox.com. This assists the support agents in diagnosing the problems and fixing them, they are I am sure well aware of these bugs and are working hard to get these fixed in future updates.

    Why does Microsoft Sudoku not Load.

    I agree with Bioko Norte. I'm disgusted by the lack of response on this issue that MANY HAVE REPORTED.

    For me, Microsoft Sudoku has not been able to start up on my Lenovo ThinkPad P71 Window 10 x64 laptop since early April. I believe
    the failure followed a major Windows update.

    Problem Details:

    • When I launch Sudoku, after the circling dots appear for several seconds, the Sudoku artwork appears in the upper left corner of the screen, Microsoft Studios and Arkadium in the upper right corner, and Microsoft Sudoku in the lower right corner. However,
      the available games and daily challenges or XBox Live account connectivity status NEVER appear (even after 30 minutes or more).
    • Selecting "Settings" from the game menu produces the error "Can't get settings for this app right now."
    • If the game is minimized, it crashes and disappears from the task bar.
    • Uninstalling and reinstalling does NOT correct the problem.
    • Resetting the game does NOT correct the problem.
    • No other Microsoft game is showing any problems (e.g. Solitaire Collection, Minesweeper, or Mahjong).
    • No other application at all is misbehaving on my PC, only Microsoft Sudoku.
    • My PC's OS and all drivers are fully up-to-date.
    • No troubleshooter or suggestions posted on various forums have had any effect on the problem.
    How do we get Microsoft or Arkadium to notice this issue, which clearly is not limited to only a few users? I haven't been able to play Sudoku on my laptop for about three weeks now, though I try daily.

    Sudoku game start up freezes on Surface Pro

    My Microsoft Sudoku game no longer starts. Have reloaded Microsoft Solitaire collection and at the bottom chosen Microsoft Sudoku game and each time I start it I get initial Microsoft Sudoku starting screen and then it shifts to a blank blue screen and
    freezes.

    Multiple downloads have also failed and checked for Microsoft Updates and completed those....

    Any suggestions to restore Sudoku? Note other Microsoft Solitaire games work from the collection.

    No no, but you have to try this on the Microsoft store app, not on sudoku Jeannie.
