Microsoft Store/Xbox app crashing instantly

try reseting the store app by doing the following:

1. open the start menu

2. type wsreset

3. on the commande that show up right click on it

4. select ''run as administrator''

If you are still experiencing the same issue, follow the steps below to reset the Windows Store cache.

1. Press Windows key + X on your keyboard.

2. Click on Command Prompt (Admin).

3. Type wsreset.exe, and then hit Enter.

4. Close the Command prompt, and then launch Windows Store.

5. Update the Xbox App. If there is no option for you to update it, uninstall and reinstall the app.

Hi, you said launch the game via the xbox app & also tried it with microsoft store, have you launch it simply via the windows start
menu? I had a similar problem with the Xbox app (there are two updates of that) and it allowed me to launch the game I was on at the moment.

I'm having exactly the same problem and unfortunately the game crashes instantly when launched from the start menu too.

It looks like there's not much of a solution currently.

thanks for the reply but its not letting me sign in on the Microsoft store, Xbox app and the companion app. when i press the sign in button on Microsoft store nothing happens and on the xbox app and companion app, i press sign in to xbox live and for a split second something try's to load but instantly closes itself. as i said I've tried repairing uninstalling but it still wont work.

Now my microsoft store and xbox app do what my minecraft was doing. App crashes as soon as i open it.
