    Microsoft Store sent me completely wrong product...


    I ordered the Series X Seagate expansion and controller charging stand (approx. $260 + tax) and ended up receiving a white Series X controller instead. I was pretty disappointed as you can imagine. I have dealt with standard customer support reps 3x now
    and have waited almost a full week and have heard nothing regarding the case being reviewed by the escalation team.

    What are my options here? Am I required to send the controller back? Isn't Microsoft legally obligated to correct this mistake and send me what I ordered?

    contacted xbox support they sent me to microsoft store. microsoft store told me too bad. Great way to treat a customer who spent $500 on you products recently.

    Well, I think you're not going to like my answer, but I've seen a few cases like yours and in none of them the user was able to replace the controller again or get a refund.

    Many users had troubles with Xbox controllers, got them replaced by other controllers that are even worse (or not even a controller was sent to them as a replacement, like in your case) and they couldn't talk to anyone on Xbox.

    What I can tell you is that if you can't solve this issue with Microsoft/Xbox support by chat or phone, try to dispute the charge on your credit card or bank account with your financial institution. But if you do, be aware that Microsoft can block/ban your Xbox account.
