    a game called phantasy star online 2 recently came out, i have been playing it for a few days with no problems. i played valorant with some friends (the game with the intrusive vanguard anti cheat)then i tried to go back to pso2 and the shortcut for the
    game dose not start the game launcher. so i turned off vanguard and restarted my computer, but the game still does not launch. i really want to play pso2 but trying to unistall the game seems to be ineffective. the microsoft store says the game is installed
    so i can't re-install it, but the files are not on my computer...... i have no back ups to restore to fix the issue either. is there a way to make the microsoft store recognize that the game is not installed? all drivers, windows updates, and patches seem
    to be up to date. is their some way to force a program to start? any info is helpful thankyou in advance....

    You can try to reset the Microsoft Store, I once had issues installing Gears 5 and it helped.

    Go to Settings> System> Apps & features>
    Click Store> Advanced options> Reset. This will delete all data the
    store has and you'll need to login again as well.

    thank you so much, i did some more digging and it seems everyone has had problems with this game on the app store. very bumpy launches aside this did fix my personal issue. thank you!

    your dad has ultimate, you get access to gamepass games on console, but thats not how it works on pc, your dad is the only one that can use gamepass on pc, nobody else.

    It's different on PC. Your dad has the Ultimate and made the console his Home Xbox that's why you can access the subscription on your Xbox. However, that feature isn't available on PC as you have to have your own subscription in order to play.
