Microsoft Store on my xbox won’t update

Try a reset of the console while keeping your games and apps to flush caches, refresh the system and also help force along any stuck updates pending as it will check for them at startup. To do that you can do the following.

1. Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

2. Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info > Reset console.

3. On the confirmation dialog, choose

Reset and keep my games & apps

You can also try a full reset but that will clear the system back to factory and I'd recommend that be last thing you try but before that I'd say speak to tech support to see if they can further assist or if perhaps hardware service is needed.

I’ve tried this and the problem is still here. I’ve tried everything I could think of and everything on Microsoft forums. Is it a software issue from the new update? Is it time to send it to Microsoft just for them to say there’s nothing wrong with it? Nothing will install or download either so it’s basically a giant paperweight

First, try clearing the persistent storage on your Xbox One Series X. To do this, go to Settings > System > Storage > Clear persistent storage. This will clear the cache and may help resolve the issue. If that doesn't work, try resetting your console to factory settings.
