    So I had to reinstall my Windows (11). Opened up Microsoft Store to download my games but my library is literally empty. I have 1 game left, which is Minecraft Java Edition and I'm sure it's there because I had to connect the old MC client with the store. (EDIT: even tho I downloaded the MC client, it says I don't own the game)

    Things I already tried -

    • Windows Store Troubleshooter - didn't find any problems
    • Reseted Windows Store cache (even if it was useless since it's a new windows)
    • Rebooted PC
    • Re-log (yes I made sure this is the right account)
    • Uninstalled and Reinstalled Microsoft Store using PowerShell

    On top of these, my Microsoft Account doesn't show ANY purchace I made EVER. (?)

    I just bought Ancient Coins in Sea of Thieves (real money in-game currency), and my account purchase log says I didn't buy anything EVER. It shows 0 of my purchases BUT has my credit card saved. My order history is clear as if I never purchased anything, which is not even funny. Microsoft Store wants me to re-purchase these games, it won't recognize that I already own them.

    I think I know what the problem is tho. My XBOX app signs me in into a new account which a I never made called some StayedCashew595, when my old accounts name was realSMK. So I guess the question is, how do I retrieve my old account when xbox doesn't let me to choose over this new account and the old one.

    EDIT 2: I tried to log in with my gamertag and it says its tied to some random other email that I've never seen im my life. I got hacked I guess, top notch security by windows. Thanks!

    Are you able to sign in with this Microsoft account on the Microsoft website? Even if you were hacked and your gamertag was changed, if you are able to sign in to the account you should see your full order history at:

    https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders

    Please see if you are able to sign in both to https://account.microsoft.com and https://account.xbox.com and please let me know.

    Please, try login out from the Xbox app and Microsoft store app, then restart the Pc and log back in

    Also confirm that the gamertag you currently have is the same that you had before as sometimes this is due to a different account

    Please, let me know if you have only lost progress or also in game items

    Thanks for bringing this issue to the forums. If you've logged into the Microsoft website and now have a different gamertag, then you have not logged in using your original log in credentials. In order to log into your original gamertag, you would need to
    enter the correct email address and password to the account. Email addresses can only be assigned to one gamertag for log in and cannot be used for a different gamertag.

    If you're having difficulty in recalling your correct email, then I would recommend attempting to retrieve it using our

    Lost Account Solution     for best results.

    I have a profile/gamertag on my xbox of TRISTAN1 but this is not linked to a microsoft account. I have been using this profile to play games and build up progress. I joined Xbox live by going online on my laptop rather than through the xbox. Because of this
    I was given a new gamertag which doesn't link to TRISTAN1 so when I play any games through 'live' all the progress is lost as it logs me in on gamertag linked to my microsoft account

    I followed your instructions but this won't work. I created a new microsoft account but tried to name gamertag as TRISTAN1 but it won't let me as already in use.

    How can I work this out?
