Microsoft store installations not working for any app.

Hi Microsoft community! I have had a problem lately, where I wanted to play minecraft with my mates, they are on Xbox so I needed to play on windows 10 edition which I got for free as I bought java edition before September 2018. However, my Minecraft was
outdated even though it is supposed to auto-update, so I searched up how I could update it, and somewhere said I could re-install it and it will be updated to the recent update. The problem you see, is that for some reason, whenever I press the "install" button,
literally nothing happens. When I press "install on device" I choose my device, it says thanks for installing or something but it doesn't actually install. I even tried with other apps, but it was the same. I tried following steps on youtube, but nothing helped,
that is why I am asking on here. Hopefully someone can help me. Thank you.

Thanks for the update on the issue with installations on your Windows 10 PC. I recommend
reaching out the Minecraft support and Minecraft
Forum Supportfor further in-game assistance.

Give this a try and let us know the results.

Make sure your windows is up to date and then try to delete the file on your pc then reinstall it

Hey, make sure you are running the latest version on windows 10. You can do this by clicking start > settings > update and security > check for updates. If your PC is up to date I suggest you restart it and see if the problem persists.

My PC is up to date, and I have restarted before more than once but my problem persists.
