Microsoft Store"Gaming Service"and another PC GAME cannot install，error code︰0x803FB005

Here the German Twitter Team (Franziska) from Microsoft helps has solved the problem.

I cannot exactly tell how it is in English.

But go to settings - > account - > data security (Datenschutz) - > scroll down to use login information..... Restart and the installation will work.

I post the German answer all so

Ich empfehle, dass du folgende Schritte versuchst:

- Öffne die Einstellungen-App (das Zahnrad im Startmenü)

- Öffne Konten

- Klicke auf Anmeldeoptionen

- Scrolle nach unten zum Datenschutz

- Deaktiviere "Verwenden meiner Anmeldeinformationen, um die Einrichtung meines Geräts automatisch abzuschließen und meine Apps nach einem Update und Neustart erneut zu öffnen."

- Starte das Gerät neu

Es ist möglich, dass diese Einstellungen das Öffnen der Gaming Services App verhindern.

Lass mich wissen, wenn du Fragen dazu hast.

Mine was having this error but stopped after a fresh boot.

Now I cant install games due to Microsofts genius idea to have pre-specified locations where app installs are allowed and only allowing one.

I have the same error.

My pc started acting up this morning so I reinstalled Windows 10 64 Pro from scratch and patched it to newest security patchlevel.

Afterwards I could not install the xbox game pass pc application. It fails everytime with the same error 0x803FB005

I managed to get the application installed using a different link for "offline" installation. Cant remember where I found the link. When starting Xbox (beta) application a message say that an important component is missing (being gaming-services) and it
will try to install it.

In the store download queue the download fails with the code 0x803FB005

I have tried the powershell commands as suggested in this thread:

Same here.

I have an 3 Month xbox Gaming pass.

in january i installed the gaming beta app and everything worked.

Now i reinstalled Windows on an new ssd and the xbox app works again but to run games it requeres the Gaming service app.

The Installation in the app store chrashes with error 0x803FB005

Plese help me my Membership runs out and i cant Play anithing.

I tried the Shell commandos and anything else i found in the Net.

Nothing worked.

Exact same issue, new install of Windows 10 and the "Gaming Servies" app won't install thanks to the 0x803FB005 error. Second day now and it still won't work, having done all the suggested methods for fixing the issue. Not a good first experience with the
Windows 10 gaming platform...
