Microsoft Store download slows down after a while

Try to clear MS store cache, press the Win + R key to open the Run dialog.

Type cmd and click OK to open Command Prompt.

In the Command Prompt window, type the following command and hit Enter to execute:

WSReset.exe

Upon execution, you will see a blank window associated with Microsoft Store. It may take a while for the tool to clear cache, so wait till it is complete.

Are you backgrounding the download?

Puting it i. The background generally will slow any download down

Especially a 50 gig download

When downloading something yes you can background download it but it will slow the progress down if you play a game while downloading

A 10 gig will take 2hours in the background

it is better to wait after the warning, all downloads slow down

since your xbox is new, perhaps it might be downloading or updating apps/games in the background while you are gaming? if so, you will see it in your download que - this will definitely slow down any game if your internet is slowing while playing fortnight.

It could be your router or something else blocking/slowing the download speed, you may want to check the settings on it. Are you using any other devices while you are downloading if so they may be slowing the process
down
