    Microsoft store download restarting after windows restart


    I have pretty bad internet and large games take multiple days to install. I left my PC on over night last night and downloaded around 30GB of a 56GB download for Sea of Thieves, I turned my PC off in the morning and left for work, when I got back from work and turned my computer back on to resume the download, it just started again like the 30GB i did over night never happened, is this an issue with my PC or is this just a part of the microsoft store?

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I'd be happy to help troubleshoot the issue.

    So if i'm understanding correctly, Microsoft Mahjong will not download from the Microsoft Store. Is that correct?

    Reset the Microsoft Store cache. Press the Windows Logo Key + R to open the Run dialog box, type wsreset.exe, and then select OK.
    Note: A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close and Microsoft Store will open automatically.

    After this, please restart your computer and try downloading the app again.

    Let's try to reset the Microsoft Store and see if that sorts it out.

    make sure all windows updates are installed, all of them, then open the microsoft store and do all app updates after windows updates then restart and try.

    Not the only way will be this because the game files downloaded by the Microsoft Store and Xbox application are encrypted.
