Microsoft Store download location not updating

Got the Microsoft Game Pass and attempted to install a game.

Click Install - Please select a compatible drive with more than xxGB of free space. The only drive shown is C:drive. I have another I want to select, my D:drive but its not showing.

Check online - I just need to go inside the windows storage menu and select my default drive. I have changed everything to D: and hit apply and everything looks good.

Go back to the game store and my D: drive is still not showing up.

Please help, downloading a game to my second drive should not be this complicated, I already have tons of games installed there from steam and play them regularly.

Yes, it shows all of my drives present, including drive D:.

3 Start the update process:

Click "Get updates" or "Check for updates".

If an update for the Microsoft Store app is available, it will automatically begin downloading and installing.

Yes, thank you, my subscription is still active. On the first computer, the desktop, i can download new games, but any game that i had downloaded does not work, nor will they redownload. i have tried, updating both Microsoft store and xbox game pass an the games not working, logging in and out, restarting the apps and the pc, resetting microsoft store, repairing and resetting all the apps, reinstalling microsoft store, changing default download location. None have worked. Thank you for your reply,

Ok, i see your payment is showing as completed at https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/, right?

So let's check if there is an update to perform.

Go to your windows update and click on get updates

After updating, go to the Microsoft Store, select More > Downloads & updates > Get updates.

Update everything in both places.

Then try to download the game again.

Try searching for the game on the microsoft page on their website, then on the store and in the app. Try clicking download in those 3 locations.
