Microsoft Store donwloads going slowly

I'm trying to preload the Outer Worlds as I have the Game Pass, but it's downloading really slowly. I'm getting about 3 mb/s when my connection is capable of 50 mb/s.

Hello! welcome to the forums, if you are using a Windows 10 PC just update your pc to the last version.

If you are using a Xbox One, try a Speed test on Settings, Network. So you can your stats.

There is a possibility the issue could be on their end, the servers being over run with everyone downloading. If the Hard Restart didn't work I would bet this is the issue

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

While doing that also to a power fail/restart on the network equipment (modem/router).

I didn't do this, but just in case someone else has this problem it was solved by simply updating Windows
