Microsoft Store doesn't load No Man's Sky

On the account where the corruption occurred, navigate to C:\Users\NAME\Saved Games\GAME where NAME is your username and
GAME will be something like No Man's Sky in this case. Rename the No Man's Sky folder to something like No Man's Sky - Bad. Launch the game and see if it acts differently.

It seems No Man's Sky doesn't create a save there. I did find local save data elsewhere and deleted it, but the corrupted profile still doesn't work.

Paul from Xbox Forums Team here to assist with the issue, it looks like the Microsoft store currently isn't loading. Now is this on PC or Xbox One? If it's on the Xbox One console I suggest doing a

Power Cycle on the Xbox One. Also please be advised there is currently a
service alert for the market place. I hope this information helps resolve the issue.

No mans sky is already on Xbox One, the only thing is though that you have to search for it.

If you go to the games section, and then search for Elite Dangerous, you'll find it. Its a bit of a mistake on Microsoft part, they just labelled the game wrong on the store.

Seriously though, Elite Dangerous is almost the exact same game, in fact some may say that Elite Dangerous actually is far more complex than No Mans Sky.

For installation, just click on "Install" and select your device. If the computer is your only device, it will open the Xbox app and start its installation. For the cloud gaming, start to play it on your browser and then go to the Xbox app and it will appear on your recent played games and you can play it there.

I'm actually currently looking at getting no man's sky. The VR doesn't really get my attention right now though.
