  1. Microsoft Store Device Management - Unlick Greyed Out

I was informed I have too many devices attached to my microsoft store account (ultimately got this error from the xbox for PC app) and when I went to delete some old computers from the list at least 3 had the "unlink" button greyed out, so I cannot unlink old computers and recover the slots for my 10 available devices authorized for Microsoft Store purchases.

    Thanks!

Nvidia GPU in display adapters is greyed out in Device Manager

    Hello Micah Tang

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I am aware of the present situation is that you are encountering some issues of your Nvidia GTX 1650 Ti. After observation, it seems that you have done a lot of troubleshooting steps, which it is very helpful for narrowing the scope of issue. If your device have restarted, but only Intel's integrated graphics card exist in your Device Manager, it is likely that this is a hardware problem.

Here are the explanations for this issue:

    • Your laptop has an HDMI port, and if it is connected to an external monitor via this port, your Windows image output is basically from the discrete graphics card, if the hardware of the discrete graphics card is not outputting the image content well at this point. A black screen display would be an expected behaviour
    • Secondly, the reason for the grey display of Nvidia in the Device Manager may be that Nvidia's drivers do not recognise your discrete graphics card well (the reasons for this are: poor soldering of the chip on the motherboard / or circuit problems with the GPU chip itself.) At this point the image output of your device is most likely still working with the integrated graphics card.
    • If you need to resolve this issue, I would recommend that you do not connect an HDMI cable to output your laptop's image in the first place. Then use your laptop's own screen only and enter PC safe mode to see how the problem manifests itself, this mode generally calls Microsoft's most basic set of drivers for your device, If the problem is still greyed out in safe mode, or if the screen is blacked out, you can basically determine that the problem is coming from your hardware.

See more details of booting your device into safe mode: Start your PC in safe mode in Windows - Microsoft Support
    • Assuming the problem is with your laptop's hardware, contacting Acer after-sale for repair is the best option at this time. I hope the above information helps and feel free to reply if nay updates.

i want to registar a device in Microsoft Store device management

Hello Fudge, my name is Oskayra, and I will be happy to help you.

Beforehand, it is important that you keep in mind that this is a public community forum, so we are players like you, we are not employees of Microsoft or Xbox, so we do not have access to any user account or check anything from the forum. All users help each other with common problems.

I am very sorry for the problem you are experiencing, to solve it I invite you to follow the following steps recommended by Microsoft Support:

To view warranty coverage for your Surface, Surface accessory, Xbox, or Xbox accessory, you'll need to register its serial number. When you add your device this way, some online features will not be available.

    1. Go to account.microsoft.com/devices, sign in, and select Register device to continue.

    2. Enter the device serial number to register it to your account.

    3. Select the device to view warranty information.
