    Microsoft store app still won't update


    So it's been way more than 24 hours since it was constantly stopping yesterday, and now it's trying again but not downloading anything. To make things worse this time around, both the Microsoft rewards and Xbox insider hub apps are also doing the same thing.

    They've all just been sitting there for over an hour doing absolutely nothing.

    Apps not working after latest update

    Another update, while my IP won't be out here until Thursday, I had a PC update and now my Microsoft Store won't download apps there either. So it seems to be the Microsoft Store on both Xbox and PC.

    Sorry to hear about that, however, please note that gold isn't required if you play on PC.

    Thus, you would just need to ensure that you're signed in on the Microsoft store app and Xbox app using the account that you used to buy the game.

    If it still won't work, try to check if there are pending updates on your PC. This includes optional updates as well.

    Go to your PC Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates

    If it has, check your Microsoft store app > Library > Get Updates and ensure that your apps are up to date.

    If it still won't work, try to repair your Xbox app, Gaming Services app and Microsoft store app, by going to your PC settings > Apps > Installed apps > click the 3 dots > Advance options > Repair and do this to the other apps I've listed > Restart your PC.

    These steps can help you, give it a try.
    Check for updates on Windows Update, update everything including optional/additional updates.
    1. Logout from Xbox app and Microsoft Store app
    2. Look for the Xbox app and Microsoft Store app in the Windows menu, right-click, click app settings and then click terminate, restore and reset. Do this with the game too.
    3. Clear the store cache type ''wsreset'' in the Windows bar, run as admin, and wait for the screen to close and open the store automatically.
    4. Open the Microsoft Store app, click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner>downloads updates>get updates and update everything.
    5. Restart your PC, log in to both apps and see if that solves the problem.

    I believe that changing the account's gamertag won't do any good. Make sure the new account is logged into the Microsoft Store app as well.

    If the problem still persists, try to reinstall the game.

    Sorry to hear about the trouble here, however, you may want to try signing out and signing in again on the Xbox app. Also, ensure that you're signed in using the same Microsoft account on the Microsoft Store app.
